Outfit Post: Rosy

We had the first gorgeous day in a long time, but it was still chill enough to wear my new blanket-weight plaid skirt. I also broke out my brand-new gorgeous watch, Michael Kors' Runway watch, a lovely men's oversize piece in rose gold. I've never actually fallen in love with a watch before; they've always been a bit utilitarian and unnecessary. But this one I saw back in January and couldn't stop thinking about, so I bought it as a congrats-new-job present to myself!

Outfit Post: Vacation #3 - Beach combing

This outfit was a real crowd-pleaser at SFMoMA, where the typist for one of the interactive pieces of art described it as 'a sunny outfit for a spring day in San Francisco' and later called me 'the girl in the fabulous skirt'. I love interactive art!

Outfit Post: Vacation #2 - Carmel Mission

I love this new sweater from the Gap - loose, easy, very comfortable, very south of France.

Outfit Post: Vacation #1 - Golden Gate

I didn't get many outfit pictures while on vacation - I blame my mom, who's hopeless at taking full-body shots. I had a great time, wore a few new pieces, and maintained a serious emphasis on color. This outfit in particular owes a lot to my recent obsession with It's a Brad, Brad World.
